History[]
- "A friendly boy living in a remote wildlife refuge north of Ija Nöj. Technology and nature lover, he is willing to help Tchia bring Meavora down. He is Eli's son."
— Journal Description
Youl lives on the Wildlife Refuge with her father Eli. Following his father's audience with Meavora and subsequent enslavement, Youl sought out to rescue his father. He traveled to Weliwele for help but arrived as the villagers were taken captive by Pwi Dua. He noticed Tchia try to rescue them and approached her after Pwi Dua escaped with the villagers. Youl told her that he could help and brought her to his home. Youl told Tchia that they shared a common goal as his father had been captured as well as showed her a map of all of Meavora's factories on Madra Nöj. Youl explained that Tchia could force Meavora to make a deal with them if she destroyed all of his factories on Madra Nöj. He went on to say that if she took pictures of each factory, he could find their weaknesses. He then gave her a radio so that they could stay in touch.
After Tchia traveled to Xupi Maano and spoke with her father, she radioed in to Youl. Youl surmised that all of the captured adults were being held at that factory and that if they destroyed it, it would give them a chance to escape. After Tchia took pictures of the factory, Youl deduced that they could destroy the factory by clogging its chimneys to overheat it. However, he pointed out that each chimney was protected with hatches and that Tchia would need to cut their energy supply first so that he could open them. As the factory was powered by energy from Xupi Nüü, Xupi Mäcii, and Xupi Atü, Tchia set out to take pictures of them so that she and Youl could learn their weaknesses. After Tchia shutdonw the other three factories, Youl hacked Xupi Maano to open the chimney hatches. This allowed Tchia to destroy each chimney and free the prisoners. After Meavora was dethroned and killed, Youl saw his father return to the Wildlife Refuge and the two hugged.
