Rock Balancing is an activity available in Tchia. It tasks Tchia with stacking stones on top of one another to reach a target height. Completing one Rock Balancing activity will unlock a Soul Melody for the Ukulele. There are a total of seven Rock Balancing activities located around the archipelago.
Rocks can be placed horizontally with the left stick and can be rotated with the right stick. Once a rock is dropped, it will not fall and will remain in place. Furthermore, if a rock is placed but falls, Tchia will pick up another rock of a different size to be placed next. This means that the player can continue to keep placing rocks repeatedly until one stays in place until they eventually reach the target height. Completing all seven Rock Balancing activities is required for 100% game completion.

- Tre's Camp (Mandatory)
- Located near a road to the west of Pûrû Dö on Ija Nöj. Unlocks Attract Animals, Invoke Dog, Invoke Crab, Invoke Bird Soul Melodies
- Located on top of a small rock formation west of the Wildlife Refuge. Unlocks Sprout Bouncy Plant Soul Melody
- Located in a cave beside Lek near Ija Nöj's southeastern coast. It can be reached by going through the underwater cave in the lake Hua to the north. Once the player reachs a fork in the path, the activity is located to the right. At least 20 Stamina is needed to reach the activity. Unlocks Infinite Breath Bubble Soul Melody
- Located directly south of Xupi Mäcii on Madra Nöj. Unlocks Start/Stop Rain Soul Melody
- Located on a small rock formation to the south of Xupi Maano on Madra Nöj. Unlocks Sprout Explosive Plant Soul Melody
- Located on Ieji Sinoe north of the Banyan Tree. Unlocks Invoke Mwaken Soul-Melody.
